Journal Pages..

After finishing my blanket a few nights ago, I felt a little bit lost for a project last night.. until I noticed a huge pile of untouched magazines just waiting to be explored.  Armed with a new glue stick and my trusty scissors, I set to work in my inspiration journal, capturing my current thoughts and inspirations.  It really is one of my favourite ways to relax, dream and dance through ideas and magical thoughts. Where to you stash your favourite images?

Happy Friday!
Much Love

  3. I tried doing and inspiration book, but I couldn't because I felt bad for cuttting my magazines.
Some day I will find the courage to do it.

  7. I absolutely love this. When I was in middle/high school I used to cut things out of magazines all the time creating little mini inspirational collages. I sort of miss doing it.....perhaps I will take it upon myself to create these again! Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. I don't really read journals (too expensive here), but I use pinterest for beautiful pictures and a journal for drawings and thoughts (and lists, of course <3 ). Such nice pictures, with the leaves in the background!

  12. Beautiful journal you have there *sigh*

I don't have the money to spend on lots of beautiful magazines, but I love Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/) for cataloguing and browsing all the amazing things I come across online.

I have a moleskine for my thougts and to collect ephemeras from my daily life.

I also have a sturdy brown notebook for writing quotes (from books I read) in.

  16. Oh, I love this! It is so inspiring. Definitely making me want to get back to my journal--that journal I said I'd start and still haven't found the time to. I need a new way to relax.

  17. I love notebooks full of inspiring images! I have a vintage scrapbook I filled up before my last house move and love looking back at it. I've recently bought a little moleskine that I'm planning to fill up with my favourite images...I just need to make the time to get scissor happy! x

  18. You are an inspiration!! What a brilliant idea. I love your style. I so need to do this. I have all these magazines that I end up recycling anyway as I run out of room and then any of the things I've loved are gone. Thanks for another great idea. Pruxxx
