Flea Market Finds.. and a giveaway!

A very happy Flea Market Finds day to you all! And it is a very lovely day indeed, not only because I get to share in all your wonderful finds, but also because it's giveaway time.  More about that soon, but first to the finds. Thanks so much to everyone who played along last week, wonderful finds all round.  To check out all the finds pop over here and also don't forget to check out all the fab finds at Apron Thrift Girl too.  It's so wonderful to see everyone embracing the thrifting love.

So I've had a very creative week of finds, I stumbled up a sweet little book shelf and a stool in need of some love. So feeling crafty I set to work to give these thrifted pieces a makeover.  Here are a few quick before shots.

Before: The Book Shelf - $10 (Olive making herself at home)

Before: The little Stool - $3 (being ripped apart)

So after a a trip to the hardware store, a lick of paint, some new fabric and little bit of love, here are the results.

The book shelf now the perfect spot for my collection of vintage and second hand heels.  And with a little vintage fabric, a lovely matching stool.  I'm so happy with how both pieces turned out and will do a little how to write up later in the week, if you want to try getting crafty with your finds.

So now to my little Thrifting Love giveaway.

The winner will receive two of my signature brooches, 'I heart Thrifting' and 'I heart Flea Markets'.

So how to enter: To go into the draw all you have to do is play along with Flea Market Finds this week.  Just leave a comment and add your link in the linky below to your finds.  Too easy! Don't forget I love to see old finds and hand-me-down treasures too!

  7. Wow, amazing transformation with the paint colour. I have a similar one with horrible orangey stain, given to me by a friend I'm all inspired to paint it now. Thanks!
