Wild Imaginings...

via A Beautiful Mess

Can I move in here please? Wouldn't you have the most wonderful dreams and wild imaginings if you lived in a book shop...

Happy Monday!
Much Love

  1. I always wanted to live in the store that Meg Ryan runs in You've Got Mail.

  2. i avoid bookshops like the plague as it is impossible not to scorch the credit card; i'm with you, what joy a fine bookshop (and read). enjoy your week...

  3. I was thinking almost the exact same thing when i read Elsie's post earlier today. Makes me want to move over there!

  4. I live very near that little shop that appeared in You've Got Mail. When the movie was filmed, it was actually an antiques/cheese,bread,coffee shop. That shop closed, and the place was empty for many months. It is about to open as a little bakery cafe. I hope that it will be charming and successful.

I have so many books in my tiny apartment that I often feel as if I do indeed live in a bookshop!

    Best wishes.

  5. What a great name for a shop! I'd try to avoid bookstores, but the books still find me anyway. Paperback swap has saved me, but it's about time for a cleanout again anyway.

  6. Yes. Especially one that looked like this!

  7. OH MY GOSH! Wouldn't that be heaven! Living in a store that smells of books and old wood floors. Delightful!

  8. I love the name of the store! Had to comment on this post. I always say if I could just pack a cooler with some food and drink, I would be most happy locked away in a bookstore or library. Wouldn't that just be wonderful to lose your self in the literary world for days on end.

  9. Oh how funny! That shop is just around the corner from my house!
It's in Dorset, England and is lovely.....very small and cosy and smells of books (in a good way!)
It has steep old stairs at the back and the owners sit at a little old fashioned desk....lots of small bookcases, piles of books and pictures to look at.
Visit if you ever go to Dorset!

  10. Oh my! That is divine!! What a perfectly romantic name :)

Thank you for stopping by! ~ I just love receiving your comments! I'll be sure to pop by your place too. Much love ~ Sophie x
